John Clements is responsible for interacting with physician faculty to determine their needs related to grant funded research and programs. In collaboration with the faculty, John Clements is in charge of grant writing processes, and to develop budgets and programs in line with the requirements of different funding agencies (federal, state and local governments, foundations and corporate giving programs).

Leslie Francke is the current Chair for the Committee for the Protection of Human Subjects (IRB) at Synergy Medical. She is responsible for IRB application advising and processing. Mrs. Francke also supports and advises on the use of statistical analysis and poster design for conference presentations.

Mrs. Gnotek is responsible for the administrative issues in the Department. She is also in charge of frequently updating the department’s web page and databases related to research projects and IRB applications.
