Research Design:
Assist faculty, residents and students in developing a research project including picking the appropriate design, power analysis for determining adequate sample size, data collection and form development, and other project development needs.
Facilitation of Research:
Assist to implement the project, make appropriate collaborative connections with individuals or organizations, and other needs in the conducting of your research project.
Institutional Review Board:
Staff can assist you in filling out the appropriate IRB application (full,retrospective chart review, expedited survey).
Slides and Posters:
We have the technology to prepare slide shows (computer and photo slides) for presentations at professional meetings and lectures as well as grand rounds.
Manuscripts:
Assist with manuscript preparation including searching for publication sources, editing, writing, and submitting manuscripts as well and proofreading, formatting and fact checking.
Grants:
The Department has personnel that can assist you in locating funding for your project if necessary. Contacting us early is important as funding may take six months to a year to obtain.
