| Synergy Medical
is a non-profit medical education corporation offering community-based
residency programs that are fully accredited and university affiliated.
We offer residency programs in:
Our residents
rotate among our member hospitals, which have a combined bed
capacity of nearly 1,000 and feature state of the art facilities
and the best in medical care. Residents also treat patients at Synergy
Medical's Academic Health Care Center, located at Synergy
Medical. The center has about 40,000 patient visits annually
and is home to our Primary Care Procedures Center, Ob/Gyn
Clinic,
Endocrine Clinic, Ambulatory
Geriatric Evaluation Service, Breast Cancer Assessment Clinic
and Travel
Medicine Clinic.
Synergy Medical
is a clinical campus of Michigan State University College of
Human Medicine. Each year between 35 to 40 third- and fourth-year
medical students complete their clinical training here, giving
residents ample opportunity to teach others.
We have almost
400 community physicians who hold clinical appointments through
MSU-CHM. Regular interaction with the "open staff" is an added
bonus for our residents. While each residency is based at a primary
hospital, residents rotate through other member hospitals, which
provides a diverse educational experience. |
