medicine and endocrinology, in conjunction with more than 40 clinical
attending faculty permits in-depth, one-on-one academic teaching
environment for residents. All hold faculty appointments
from MSU-CHM. |

Suhasini
Gudipati, M.D., F.A.C.P.
Dr. Gudipati is the Chair of Internal Medicine, and Director of the Infectious Disease Division. She is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Gudipati received her medical degree from Guntur Medical College, India. She completed training at Chicago Medical School and Deaconess Hospital in internal medicine. Dr. Gudipati served an infectious disease fellowship at St. Louis University School of Medicine. She was awarded the Spirit of St. Vincent Award by St. Mary’s of Michigan Foundation on November 17, 2007. Dr. Gudipati joined Synergy Medical Education Alliance in July 1991. |

Dr. Lambert is Assistant Director of Internal Medicine
and Clerkship Coordinator. He
completed his Internal Medicine residency and Endocrine Fellowship at Mayo Clinic. Dr.
Lambert is an outstanding teacher; medical students from MSU-CHM have awarded
him for excellence in teaching for 10 consecutive years. |

Palaniandy
Kogulan, M.D.
Dr.
Kogulan is an Assistant Director of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Kogulan is certified in Internal Medicine & Infectious Disease by the
American Board of Internal Medicine. He received his medical
degree from University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka in 1989. From July 1995 to
June 1998, Dr. Kogulan completed an internship and residency at Our Lady of
Mercy University Medical Center in Bronx, NY. He
served an infectious disease fellowship at Washington Hospital Center, Washington,
DC from July 1998 to June 2000. After completing his fellowship training,
Dr. Kogulan spent the next 3 years as an infectious disease specialist at St.
Anthony Memorial Health Center, Michigan City, IN and Porter Memorial Hospital,
Valparaiso, IN. Dr. Kogulan joined Synergy Medical Education Alliance
in January 2004. |

the McLaren Regional Medical Center Internal Medicine Residency
Program. She received her medical degree from Pomeranian Medical
University in Szczecin, Poland. Dr. Pawlaczyk completed her internal
medicine residency training at McLaren Regional Medical Center
in Flint, Michigan. |

Vijay Kumar, M.D.
Dr. Kumar is an Assistant Director of Internal Medicine & Endocrinology. He received his medical degree from Patna Medical College, India in 1996. From July of 1999 to June of 2002 he completed his internship and residency at State University of New York. He served an endocrinology fellowship at Louisiana State University, Shreveport, Louisiana from July 2002 to June 2004. Dr. Kumar spent the last few years as a consultant in Endocrinology at Max Medical Centre in Delhi India. He joined Synergy Medical Education Alliance in February 2007. |

Dr. Vallabhaneni received his medical degree from Siddhartha Medical College, NTR University Health Sciences, Vijayawada, India in 1997. He received a Masters in Health Administration from the London Institute of Technology and Research in June 2000; a Masters in Public Health from University of Michigan in December 2000; and a Masters in Nutrition from Eastern Michigan University in June 2004. Dr. Vallabhaneni completed a residency in internal medicine at Hurley Medical Center in 2007. He joined Synergy Medical Education Alliance in July 2007. |
