| Dr. Stuart Rupke has gone on a medical Mission trip in March 2008 to Nicaragua. | |
| Dr. Jackson led another team of residents on an International Health Trip (one of 3 such trips sponsored by Synergy). This trip will occur at the end of April 2008 and will be to Guatemala working with the Mayan villagers for 10 days. | |
FM Faculty supports Synergy Medical International Health Trips
In 2007, Three of the FM faculty lead a series of 3 trips to the Belize/Guatemala area to work in the Mayan Villages in the Sarstun and Rio Dulce areas. Drs. Rupke, Yang and Jackson each led a team of 5-6 residents, community faculty, nurses and medical students for a 10 trip. All in all, the 3 teams delivered medical care to about 2000 patients in the time spent in the area. Click on this link to view some photos. |
