Our Emergency Medicine Residency Program,
which began in 1998, is a three-year program designed to produce
board-certified emergency medicine physicians who are comfortable
handling any patient situation presenting to an emergency department.
The faculty consists of 36 full-time and 2 part-time physicians.
All of these are Emergency Medicine residency trained, and all
are Emergency Board certified/eligible. Residents receive training
at Covenant Health Care System’s new state-of-the-art Emergency
Department and Saint Mary’s of Michigan Hospital.
