Medical Student Programs

Synergy Medical welcomes medical students from other LCME accredited medical schools to participate in the Visiting Medical Student Clerkship Program. *Requests for electives should be received three months prior to the commencement of the elective. An application fee may be required, please contact the Medical Education department for details.

You must be a student in good standing at your school, must demonstrate evidence of liability coverage by that school and must have met the prerequisite requirements for the elective.

A unique concept in medical education, Synergy Medical is a separate medical education corporation, established to run citywide medical education training programs and Continuing Medical Education courses for the physicians in the area. Approximately 350 community physicians hold faculty appointments and participate in the training programs. In addition, full-time board-certified faculty are employed by Synergy Medical and are directly responsible for the running of both student and resident education.
