Ovid is a vendor of databases that Synergy Medical purchases for the staff of Saint Mary's, Covenant and Synergy Medical. Ovid provides access to MEDLINE, Evidence Based Medicine Reviews, CINAHL (nursing and allied health literature) and much more. It offers citation information to all MEDLINE articles and to many full text journal articles.

EBSCO Health Business FullTEXT provides full text coverage of 140 well-known administrative journals such as H&HN: Hospitals & Health Networks, Health Management Technology, Modern Healthcare and many others. Critical for hospital administrators and managers, this database includes publications covering topics such as staffing, health care regulation, health care facilities management, marketing, finance and more.

PubMed is provided by the National Library of Medicine. Over 11 million MEDLINE citations are available starting from the mid-1960's. Many citations include links to sites providing full text articles.

MEDLINEplus is a Web-based database designed for the health consumer. This database provides carefully selected links to Web resources with authoritative health information. Included are dictionaries, directories, organizations and over 400 health topics.

NLM Gateway is a Web-based system that allows the user to search simultaneously in multiple retrieval systems of the National Library of Medicine.
