Clinical Trials Department at Synergy was developed in 2001 by Dr. Christine Rohr and Dianne Androsuk, CCRC.  Dr. Rohr has been conducting clinical trials for the past 10 years as a Principle Investigator.  Dianne Androsuk has been a full time, certified clinical research coordinator for the past 19 years. We have several physicians that pose as Sub-Investigators in the trials.  

Synergy Clinical Trials conducts many various types of clinical trials for pharmaceutical companies.  We are a multi-specialty, clinical trials site, meaning we do studies for various diagnosis.  Some of the studies we are presently conducting are for Phases II, III and IV.  Some of the diagnosis are IBS, Hypertension, Dementia, GERD, Hypertension, Osteoarthritis, Uterine Fibroid, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Asthma, COPD etc. 

When a patient volunteers to participate in a clinical trial the receive all required procedures, history & physical, and study medication free of charge.  Patients are also compensated for their participation.  Some of the procedures that have been required for studies performed have been MRI, electrocardiogram, x-rays, EGD, colonoscopy, transvaginal ultrasounds, spriometery etc.
